GENERAL LEARNER OUTCOMES (GLOs)

The Six General Learner Outcomes are the essential goals of standards-based learning for students in all grade levels and all content areas.

Self Directed Learner: Takes responsibility for one’s own learning

Community Contributor: Understands that people must work together

Complex Thinker: Engages in complex thinking and problem-solving

Quality Producer: Recognizes and produces quality work

Effective Communicator: Communicates effectively in various situations

Effective and Ethical User of Technology: Uses a variety of technology effectively and ethically

Parent, Student, and School Compact:

Parents, students, and school will sign a compact that outlines how parents, students, and school staff will share the responsibility for improved student achievement. Through this, a partnership of school and family will be developed to help children achieve the State's high standards. This compact is included in the Parent and Student Information Handbook.
